For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.
But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and knows more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of a centuries-old battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and sooner or later, she's going to have to pick a side...
Review
A normal girl and a mysterious guy meet in a biology class???? Gives me Twilight vibe. Instead of vampires its angels.
I love reading about angels. Supernatural is one of my favorite TV Series. I got to know many things about angels in that series. Hush, Hush is a book about angels. It is favorite of many BookTubers who I follow. So I picked it up to see what more I can know about angels.
When the main characters met it felt like Twilight. A strange mysterious guy sitting with not so popular girl and making mysterious conversation. Appearing suddenly in places wherever she went. The moment they met strange things starts to happen in Nora's life.
The story was good. There was not much to learn about the angels in this. It was like dragging and the interesting thing happened after 75% of the book. The writing is good and it's easy to get to. This is the first book so maybe it just started off as the two characters meeting and getting to know each other. The ending was good and there was some action. I will continue reading the series. I hope I will get to know more about angels. I Like to read myths and folklore in a fictional book.
